1. What makes Habitat Pet Enclosures different from other outdoor cages?

Habitat isn’t just another pet cage—it’s a completely re-engineered outdoor enclosure. From insulated roofs to double-strength steel panels, every detail is designed to withstand harsh weather, prevent rust, and keep your pets comfortable and safe year-round. No other enclosure comes close.

Our roof panels use aluminium-laminated polyurethane—the same insulation trusted in construction and cold storage facilities. It keeps interiors cooler in summer and warmer in winter by blocking radiant heat, resisting moisture, and maintaining stable temperatures for your animals.

Absolutely. The insulated roof and galvanised steel panels are built for all conditions—from scorching Australian summers to cold winter nights. Whether you’re in the suburbs or the outback, Habitat helps maintain a more consistent and comfortable internal environment.

Habitat is ideal for a wide range of pets and small animals, including dogs, cats, birds, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Each model is designed for comfort, safety, and species-appropriate space and ventilation.

Most enclosures use thin 20mm frames. Ours feature a 25mm steel tube reinforced with an extra 10mm welded frame—doubling the strength. This gives you unmatched durability, stability, and long-term safety for your animals.

No. Unlike cages made from raw metal that simply get powdercoated, Habitat uses a triple-layer protection system—hot-dip galvanising, Colourbond cladding, and powdercoating. This prevents corrosion, even in coastal or humid conditions.

Not at all. Habitat’s screws are recessed and hidden for a clean, modern look—and to protect your pets from scratches or injuries. The wire mesh is also built into the frame, not tacked onto the front, eliminating sharp edges and ugly overlaps.

Yes. Every Habitat Enclosure is modular and expandable. You can start with one section and add more as your needs grow—without having to replace your original structure.

Yes. Insulated roofs are standard on all configurations in our store—except for models that use a wire or peaked roof design. If you prefer, you also have the option to downgrade to a non-insulated roof to suit your climate or budget. In our design your own category, it’s up to you.

Cheaper cages may look similar at first, but they’re often made from raw steel that rusts quickly, traps heat, and weakens over time. Habitat is an investment in long-term comfort, safety, and style—because your pets deserve more than just a cage. They deserve a Habitat.
