Key Features and Benefits
- Our Aviaries are TALLER! - Most aviaries on the market top out at around 180cm high—ours with the insulated sloped roof stand tall at a full 220cm. That’s basically 40cm or an extra foot (+ a bit) for free. At over 20% taller than most standard enclosures, it’s the kind of difference you notice straight away.
- Built Tough for Aussie Conditions - Built tough with galvanised, double welded, powder coated steel frames, Colourbond metal as standard and galvanised Powdercoated wire mesh (as standard) compared to other products on the market that have NO Powdercoating at all. Most Chinese imported cages are just powdercoated over raw (non-galvanised metal) and they rust from the inside out. Habitat Outdoor Bird Aviaries are ready for harsh Aussie conditions and won't rust.
- Warmer in the Winter and Cooler in Summer - We use Aluminium Insulated Roof Panelling as standard (others charge you $100s extra) Unpredictable weather, hot sun, cold rain, whatever rolls through—our Insulated Roof handles it.
- MODULAR so they will expand with your hobby - This modular aviary system lets you extend as needed—add panels, increase length, or scale it up as your needs grow. No ripping everything out and starting again.
- EASY to Set Up - And when it comes to putting it together—no dramas. It’s quicker and easier to assemble than a flat-pack garden shed because our panels ARE NOT a box of components which need to be assembled before you even start to erect the enclosure. Everything lines up, bolts together properly and before you know it, you’ve got a solid aviary standing there looking great......without owing old mate Tradie down the road a slab.

The Big Kahuna
This is where an aviary really turn heads. Our 118 x 477 x 224cm Aviary gives your birds serious room to fly, settle and thrive— space that feels more like a home than just an enclosure.
The longer layout means more natural movement, better flight space and a calmer environment for your birds overall. It’s the kind of enclosure that makes bird keeping feel easy and enjoyable.
Hard to Miss
At 118cm wide x 477cm deep x 224cm high, this is a large aviary that makes a real statement in the backyard. It fits beautifully along a fence line or boundary, but let’s be honest—you'll want to get it out for everyone to see.
With clean lines, a strong build and a powdercoated and colourbond finish that looks sharp, this is the kind of aviary people notice for all the right reasons.
Built for Serious Breeders
If you’re breeding birds, this size gives you a real advantage. More length means more space for birds to pair up, nest and stay settled without stress or overcrowding. Better conditions lead to healthier birds and stronger breeding results.
It also makes daily care easier—feed checks, nesting and keeping an eye on behaviour all happen without too much disruption.

Lock In a Rock-Solid Base
The Habitat Concrete Former helps give your enclosure a rock-solid foundation that stays put. Your enclosure is already built tough, but adding a concrete base gives you extra stability—especially if you’re dealing with strong winds, exposed yards or uneven ground.
It bolts together easily, your enclosure fixes straight to it, and once the concrete is poured, everything locks in nice and solid. You also get a cleaner, more practical setup, with a smooth surface that makes sweeping out mess and wash-downs far easier.
Strong, tidy and built for long-term peace of mind. Available in two sizes to suit your setup.
