Key Features and Benefits
-
- Our Cat Enclosures are TALLER! - Most outdoor cat enclosures on the market top out at around 180cm high—ours with the insulated sloped roof stand tall at a full 220cm. That’s basically 40cm or an extra foot (+ a bit) for free. At over 20% taller than most standard enclosures, it’s the kind of difference you notice straight away.
- Built Tough for Aussie Conditions - Built tough with galvanised, double welded, powder coated steel frames, Colourbond metal as standard and galvanised Powdercoated wire mesh (as standard) compared to other products on the market that have NO Powdercoating at all. Most Chinese imported cages are just powdercoated over raw (non-galvanised metal) and they rust from the inside out. Habitat Outdoor Cat Enclosures are ready for harsh Aussie conditions and won't rust.
- Warmer in the Winter and Cooler in Summer - We use Aluminium Insulated Roof Panelling as standard (others charge you $100s extra) Unpredictable weather, hot sun, cold rain, whatever rolls through—our Insulated Roof handles it.
- MODULAR so they will expand with your hobby - This modular cat run system lets you extend as needed—add panels, increase length, or scale it up as your needs grow. No ripping everything out and starting again.
- EASY to Set Up - And when it comes to putting it together—no dramas. It’s quicker and easier to assemble than a flat-pack garden shed because our panels ARE NOT a box of components which need to be assembled before you even start to erect the enclosure. Everything lines up, bolts together properly and before you know it, you’ve got a solid cat enclosure standing there looking great......without owing old mate Tradie down the road a slab.

More Room to Roam
If you’ve got the space, this one really opens things up. The extra length gives your cat/s more room to move, explore and stay active throughout the day. This ideal for multiple cats or more energetic climbers.
It’s a great solution if you want more than just a basic run, giving your cats space to spread out instead of sharing the same spot.
Shelter, Sun + Airflow
This setup splits the roof into three distinct zones, giving your cat options throughout the day.
The insulated sloped section creates a protected area that stays cooler in summer and warmer in winter—perfect for resting out of the weather. The flat mesh section opens things up for full sun and airflow, while the peaked roof section adds extra cover but still lets heat escape.
With solid panels along the back section, you get a more sheltered retreat, while the open mesh areas keep the space feeling light and connected to the outdoors.
Set It Up Your Way
At 232cm high, there’s plenty of vertical space to build upwards with shelves, towers and hammocks—great for creating different levels and keeping things interesting.
The added length also gives you more flexibility to zone the space—resting area at one end, play and climbing through the middle and open lounging up front.
Finished in a powdercoated frame with Colourbond panels, this enclosure looks right at home in the backyard—clean, modern and built tough for everyday use, it will be the star of you yard.
Cat Bed AttachmentOur Chicken Coop – Cat Bed Attachment gives your cats a cosy sheltered space to relax inside the enclosure while also adding another level to explore. You’ve got the choice of two different positions. Mount it lower to the ground for an easy-access sleeping nook or flip the coop panel upside down to create a raised cat bed higher off the ground—ideal for cats that love elevated perches and tucked-away spots. It’s a great way to add a cat lounge and not encroach on the internal space of the enclosure. Simply add a cat bed or pillow to the tubs for a luxurious sleeping alcove for your feline friend. If you’d like to include this accessory with your setup, simply select it and add it to your cart above. |

Lock In a Rock-Solid Base
The Habitat Concrete Former helps give your enclosure a rock-solid foundation that stays put. Your enclosure is already built tough, but adding a concrete base gives you extra stability—especially if you’re dealing with strong winds, exposed yards or uneven ground.
It bolts together easily, your enclosure fixes straight to it, and once the concrete is poured, everything locks in nice and solid. You also get a cleaner, more practical setup, with a smooth surface that makes sweeping out mess and wash-downs far easier.
Strong, tidy and built for long-term peace of mind. Available in two sizes to suit your setup.
