Key Features and Benefits
- Our Cat Enclosures are TALLER! - Most outdoor cat enclosures on the market top out at around 180cm high—ours with the insulated sloped roof stand tall at a full 220cm. That’s basically 40cm or an extra foot (+ a bit) for free. At over 20% taller than most standard enclosures, it’s the kind of difference you notice straight away.
- Built Tough for Aussie Conditions - Built tough with galvanised, double welded, powder coated steel frames, Colourbond metal as standard and galvanised Powdercoated wire mesh (as standard) compared to other products on the market that have NO Powdercoating at all. Most Chinese imported cages are just powdercoated over raw (non-galvanised metal) and they rust from the inside out. Habitat Outdoor Cat Enclosures are ready for harsh Aussie conditions and won't rust.
- Warmer in the Winter and Cooler in Summer - We use Aluminium Insulated Roof Panelling as standard (others charge you $100s extra) Unpredictable weather, hot sun, cold rain, whatever rolls through—our Insulated Roof handles it.
- MODULAR so they will expand with your hobby - This modular cat run system lets you extend as needed—add panels, increase length, or scale it up as your needs grow. No ripping everything out and starting again.
- EASY to Set Up - And when it comes to putting it together—no dramas. It’s quicker and easier to assemble than a flat-pack garden shed because our panels ARE NOT a box of components which need to be assembled before you even start to erect the enclosure. Everything lines up, bolts together properly and before you know it, you’ve got a solid cat enclosure standing there looking great......without owing old mate Tradie down the road a slab.

Big Space for Active Cats
Give your cats room to freely move, climb, chase and stretch out with the 118 x 477 x 224cm High Outdoor Cat Enclosure with Insulated Sloped and Mesh Roof. The longer layout keeps cats active and entertained throughout the day. It makes a great setup for multiple cats or energetic cats that need more than a small enclosure.
Head off to work knowing your cats stay safe while still getting fresh air, sunshine and plenty of space to explore instead of sitting indoors all day.
Shelter Where It Counts, Open Where It Matters
The split roof design creates two distinct zones your cats can move between throughout the day, giving them the choice of shelter or sunshine whenever they want it.
The insulated sloped roof covers the sheltered section and helps regulate temperature year-round, keeping the space cooler through summer and warmer in winter. It gives your cats a comfortable spot to rest, sleep or escape the weather when they feel like cover.
The flat mesh roof opens up the remaining space to sunlight and airflow, creating a bright outdoor zone where your cats can bask in the sun, watch the yard and enjoy fresh air without feeling boxed in.
Solid rear panels help block wind and weather through the back section, while the open mesh front keeps the enclosure bright, airy and connected to the backyard. Built to feel open while still offering protection, it gives your cats the best of both worlds.
Set It Up Your Way
Make the most of the full 224cm height by creating climbing zones with shelves, towers, hammocks and platforms that let your cats perch at different levels and spread out across the enclosure.
Use the extra length to set up dedicated spaces for sleeping, climbing and lounging, so your cats can move between zones and settle where they feel most comfortable. You can even flip one of our chicken coop attachments upside down to create a cosy raised cat bed tucked into the sheltered section.
Despite the larger footprint, the clean lines, powder coated frame and Colourbond panels keep the enclosure looking sharp in the backyard. Built tough for Aussie conditions, it stays low maintenance, handles the weather and looks good enough to leave proudly on display.
Cat Bed AttachmentOur Chicken Coop – Cat Bed Attachment gives your cats a cosy sheltered space to relax inside the enclosure while also adding another level to explore. You’ve got the choice of two different positions. Mount it lower to the ground for an easy-access sleeping nook or flip the coop panel upside down to create a raised cat bed higher off the ground—ideal for cats that love elevated perches and tucked-away spots. It’s a great way to add a cat lounge and not encroach on the internal space of the enclosure. Simply add a cat bed or pillow to the tubs for a luxurious sleeping alcove for your feline friend. If you’d like to include this accessory with your setup, simply select it and add it to your cart above. |

Lock In a Rock-Solid Base
The Habitat Concrete Former helps give your enclosure a rock-solid foundation that stays put. Your enclosure is already built tough, but adding a concrete base gives you extra stability—especially if you’re dealing with strong winds, exposed yards or uneven ground.
It bolts together easily, your enclosure fixes straight to it, and once the concrete is poured, everything locks in nice and solid. You also get a cleaner, more practical setup, with a smooth surface that makes sweeping out mess and wash-downs far easier.
Strong, tidy and built for long-term peace of mind. Available in two sizes to suit your setup.
